The six steps every booking follows, whichever stage or service you need.
Say where the house is, whether it is a new build or an established home, and what worries you. For a build, have the builder's stage dates handy so we can line up the visits that follow.
Answer a few questions in the form and the figure is shown straight away. Nothing is booked until you accept it.
A registered practitioner is matched to the job and the time is confirmed in writing. When a pour or a plaster date moves, tell us and we move with it.
The inspector works the checklist for that stage or service, measures what a tape or level can settle, and uses a moisture meter or thermal camera where the reading matters.
Each finding comes with photos, a plain description and the clause or tolerance it falls short of, set out so your supervisor can work straight from it.
Ring us with questions about any item. If the builder pushes back, we explain where it stands against the Guide to Standards and Tolerances 2015 and say plainly when something is not worth the argument.

Shower set-downs under the wall line, slab edges in the cavity and honeycombed concrete. What we measure when the frame first sits on the slab.

Why the lock-up visit on a Truganina build rechecks the frame report, and what a cut top plate, slack bracing and missing tie-downs have in common.
